Jeanne Willis nació el 5 de noviembre de 1959 en St Albans, Inglaterra. Es autora de literatura infantil y guionista. Estudió redacción publicitaria en el Watford College of Art y trabajó como creativa en agencias de radio, cine y televisión. Ha escrito numerosos libros infantiles, entre ellos The Monster Bed y la serie Dr. Xargle. También colaboró en la secuela autorizada de Winnie-the-Pooh. Ha creado guiones para programas como Polly Pocket y Dr. Darle. Vive en Londres con su esposo Ian James Wilcock, con quien se casó en 1989, y sus dos hijos.
