FIELDING HELEN
Helen Fielding nacida el 19 de febrero de 1958 en Morley, Inglaterra es una escritora y periodista británica, conocida principalmente por ser la creadora del icónico personaje Bridget Jones. Su novela El diario de Bridget Jones 1996 se convirtió en un fenómeno global y fue adaptada al cine con gran éxito, protagonizada por Renée Zellweger, Colin Firth y Hugh Grant.
Fielding estudió Literatura Inglesa en el St Anne's College de la Universidad de Oxford y comenzó su carrera en la BBC como productora de documentales. En los años 90, escribió una columna anónima en The Independent, donde nació el personaje de Bridget Jones. Su éxito la llevó a escribir varias novelas sobre Bridget, incluyendo Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason 1999 , Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy 2013 y Bridget Jones's Baby: The Diaries 2017 .
