Ilustradora nacida en Pekin, actualmente reside en Cambridge, Reino Unido. En 2022, Elyon se matriculó en el Máster de Ilustración de Libros Infantiles de la ARU en el Reino Unido y desde entonces ha obtenido diversos premios de ilustración, entre el que destaca el Macmillan Prize Highly Commended 2023, y en el 2024 el Premio Apila Primera Impresión.
